Fashion Blogger Tiff—Rejuvenating Skin’s Radiance

Fashion Blogger Tiff’s Skin Rejuvenation Plan
Vbeam Perfecta Pulsed Dye Laser X Hydra-Oxygen Skin Treatment

My boyfriend had to work during the holiday and couldn’t click my photos, so I clicked a few selfies myself.🤳

Lately, I have been enjoying going makeup-free. I have been hearing about the HydraFacial (or DermaClear) treatment for a long time, and finally got to experience it through the skin management treatment paired with picosecond laser treatment at Le-Renouveau. I underwent this treatment hoping to make my skin visibly rejuvenated.🤗

Everyone must be familiar with HydraFacial by now. It deeply cleanses the pores and removes impurities. The final step involves applying a moisturizing essence to make skin clean and hydrated. ✨My skin instantly became more radiant with the immediate effects of the treatment! My skin continued to glow for two weeks after the treatment. I felt great looking at myself in the mirror every morning.👼

A week after the HydraFacial treatment, I received the picosecond laser treatment. Yesterday, I received many DMs asking about the type of laser treatment I had and whether it was painful. I’m going to share my experience with y’all!

The doctors and nurses thought I would be scared; however, I’m actually more scared of getting injections than the laser. 🤣 Before my laser treatment, I looked for some reviews online, most of which said that it feels like someone snapping a rubber band at your face or pinching you with their nails. Surprisingly, I personally found that the laser treatment was less painful than those sensations. Before the treatment, they applied numbing cream on my face, and during the treatment, the nurse blew cold air at me to distract me, whereas the doctor continuously talked to me. I was totally chill, and before I knew it, the treatment was over.🥰

Right after the laser treatment, my face looked like I had a severe sunburn, but most of the redness disappeared the next day, leaving only a few scabs. The nurse said that I could start wearing makeup the next day; however, as I’ve been wearing a mask lately, I only applied eye makeup and let my skin rest for a week. During the first week after the laser treatment, I only focused on moisturizing my skin (I recommend Le-Renouveau’s moisturizers👍🏼), and in the second week, I resumed my regular skincare routine (face masks, eye creams, and other products).

I started noticing changes in my skin after about a week of the laser treatment. I wasn’t specifically monitoring my skin every day, but one day randomly while brushing my teeth, I realized that small scabs around my eyes had disappeared. The dark and dull areas around my nose caused by constantly wearing glasses had also significantly improved. My skin has become brighter and smoother. Post the treatment, wearing makeup has become much easier and more efficient. My foundation now blends with my skin seamlessly. As my skin tone has become brighter, the need for wearing foundation daily has also minimized.

At the time the photo was taken, I wasn’t wearing any foundation on my face, and only used mascara, lipstick, and eyebrow makeup. The deep acne scars on my face were slightly lightened after the first laser treatment. I will need to undergo several more sessions to completely get rid of them.💪🏼
